Travel with bugaboo chameleon stroller?

We are traveling with a 10 month old baby, and we are wondering if we should invest in a bugaboo stroller bag ($160) or buy an ultralight stroller for the same price? We’ve never traveled on a plane with the baby, and this will be our first one. I am just wondering if anyone has traveled recently (with the new airline restrictions) with a bugaboo chameleon? Thanks.
